through the viewfinder of my Kodak duaflex

One of the most amazing things about Squam (yes another most amazing part) was being surrounded by cameras.  Although I wasn't in Andrea's TTV class, I got to bask in the excitement of those who had a chance to make their contraptions and set off in the woods to capture images only TTV can render.  I had met Jen Lee for the first time in Chicago during Blogher and we discovered our Squam connection.  She assured me that her girl, Hula, would hook me up with some viewfinder help.  She was right!  Andrea is full of magic and today I finally had the time to play with the simple method she showed me for a collapsible setup. 

Did you doubt that my kids would be my very first subject? ;-)

Getting dragged to the bus by superman, three feet tall and full of love for none other than his sister, no other goal in mind but stealing the first hug after she gets off the bus. What's better than jacketless fall weather afternoons, nothing but iPhone and keys in hand, well that and the tiny hand of my little almost not quite two?

SOOC Saturday: Acorns

Okay, so I'm cheating a bit. It's been far too rainy the past couple of days, but this was from earlier in the week. After seeing her sister off at the bus stop, we headed down the street to one of her favorite parks.  She was beyond thrilled that it's acorn season and filled her pockets to bursting with them.  I of course forgot about that and we had to play squirrel again later and dig the hidden acorns out of her bed!
